KUALA LUMPUR: PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is not above the law and cannot be treated as special and be exempted from it, Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar said.
Speaking at the Parliament lobby yesterday, he said Anwar should have gone to the police and given his statement because as of now, the report was only from one side, namely from his former aide, Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan.
Syed Hamid said police would carry out a follow-up action on the matter. – Bernama
